Dr. Arshad William, MD
Medical Director/Psychiatrist

Ashad received his medical degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria. His psychiatry residency was at Harlem Hospital, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York where he was also the Chief Resident in his final year of residency.  Arshad is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM), He is also a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Member of the Colorado Psychiatric Society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Richard D. Wallis, PhD, PMHNP

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Richard is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in several psychiatric settings. He completed his psychiatric training at the University of Kentucky and his Ph.D. at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has advanced training in psychopharmacology, has attended more than 24 psychiatry conferences, and has presented several posters and spoken at several national psychiatry conferences. He is currently providing outpatient psychiatric services both in-person and through telehealth at A New Outlook Recovery Services.

We are excited to introduce our newest addition, A New Outlook Recovery Services. Our Colorado Recovery Services offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for both Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Disorder patients, as well as NeuroStar Advanced TMS therapy.

TMS Coordinator

Debra has used her care for helping people to focus on helping people battling their depression as the TMS Coordinator at Colorado TMS and A New Outlook Recovery Services.

Debra has made his home here in Denver for over 50 years and has found her home at Colorado TMS here in Littleton.

Paul L

Robert J. Johnson, SAP, MAC, LAC
Executive Director

Robert J. Johnson has been with A New Outlook Counseling Service providing counseling services in Highlands Ranch, CO since 2010. He received his Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family & Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix.

He is a Substance Abuse Professional, Master Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. His experience includes private practice, residential in-patient, intensive residential treatment, outpatient, sober living and therapeutic communities.

Robert focuses his practice on therapy and counseling and has been assisting patients for over 16 years.

Robert was born in Iowa and has lived in Colorado since 1976. In addition, he is currently pursuing his licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy and professional counseling.  Robert spends his free time playing golf with his family and friends.

 

Paul S. Lovato, BS, CAC III
Clinical Director

Paul S. Lovato graduated from Metro State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with the Emphasis in the Addictions.  He has been a Colorado Addictions Counselor III for over 28 years.  Paul is also certified as a Trauma Specialist who offers an eclectic approach to counseling using various styles.  He is proficient in individual therapy, groups, trauma, and family/couples/marriage counseling.  He has created workshops and groups on various topics, most recently an 8-week Co-Dependency workshop.

His 32 years of experience in recovery from addictions and trauma has given him a unique opportunity to get a comprehensive view of recovery.   Paul has been blessed to have two of the best mentors in the field of addiction and trauma that he has ever discovered in the therapeutic community.

Since 2010, A New Outlook Counseling Service has served the greater Denver area.

We are excited to introduce our newest addition, A New Outlook Recovery Services.  Our Colorado Recovery Services offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for both Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Disorder patients. In addition, we also offer our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)/Day Treatment program.

A New Outlook Recovery Services is honored to be a member of the NeuroStar family of providers. Firstly, this advanced therapy service is uniquely designed for the treatment of major depressive disorders. In addition, this therapy is designed for adult patients who have not satisfactorily improved from previous antidepressant medication. Secondly, this therapy is ideal for those who require further intervention to achieve satisfactory results.

In addition, we also offer a full range of Psychiatric services with evidence-based treatment options.
