Compassionate, Quality Care for Military, Veterans, and First Responders
At A New Outlook Recovery Services, our Military/Veteran & First Responder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for individuals who regularly face critical incidents, trauma, and high levels of physical and emotional stress. This program provides structured, trauma-aware care in a setting that respects the unique experiences and culture of service members, Veterans, and First Responders.
We recognize the impact that repeated exposure to life-threatening situations can have on mental health, relationships, and daily functioning. Our goal is to offer focused support that is both clinically appropriate and grounded in genuine respect for those who serve.
Tailored Treatment for Your Needs and Preferences
No two service stories are the same. Our IOP offers individualized treatment options that are shaped around each person’s specific needs, preferences, and goals. Together, we look at how your experiences are affecting your life now and identify strategies to help you move toward greater stability and wellbeing.
Treatment may include:
- Structured intensive outpatient programming
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy with peers who understand service-related stress
- Family or partner involvement, when appropriate and desired
Plans are developed collaboratively so that you understand each step of care and can actively participate in decision-making.
Your First Step: Comprehensive 90-Minute Assessment
The process begins with an initial 90-minute assessment and evaluation. During this session, a clinician will:
- Review the difficulties and symptoms you are currently experiencing
- Explore relevant history, including service-related experiences when you are comfortable sharing
- Discuss your goals, concerns, and priorities for treatment
- Begin developing a personalized treatment plan with you
When helpful, this plan may also include referrals to additional services, such as individual, group, or family therapy, or coordination with other providers already involved in your care.
Coordinated, Respectful, and Supportive Care
Our approach emphasizes:
- Collaboration: You are an active partner in your care, not a passive recipient.
- Respect for service culture: We recognize the values, strengths, and challenges common in military and First Responder communities, and we strive to provide care that is sensitive to those realities.
- Continuity of care: When appropriate and with your consent, we can coordinate with other professionals involved in your treatment to support a more integrated experience.
If you are exploring options for structured support that respects your service and focuses on your wellbeing, our team can provide clear information about how this IOP may fit your needs.
